Define

It includes project information, pre-design and code review. The design team and stakeholder participation is established.

Design

This step in the process includes schematic design reviews, and design development.

Refine

Construction Documents  and reviews are included in this phase, including approval.

Build

Bidding negotiation, construction observation.

What happens after a customer contacts your office via email?

Based on the geneeral information you provided in your contact form, we will ask you for some detailed information about your project.

We will then arrange a follow-up call or appointment to dialogue about the services we can provide and answer your questions.  This initial consultation is free of charge.

 

What is the process after the initial consultation?

A tailored plan will be develop based on the type of project the customer is interested in. It will streamline the conversation required to align customer specific needs and requirements with project deliverables.

During this early stage, and through active participation and open conversation between customer and designer, the scope of the project and budget are initially defined.

 

 

Does your office work with projects located outside the US?

Rousena Hoag Architecture- Design is an international design firm with projects located in different countries and able to communicate in several languages.

We value and respect every culture and welcome the active participation of project stakeholders during the integrated design process. 

 

 

Does an integrated design process help to keep the project’s budget in check?

It depends. Most of the time it will maintain a close look at how the original budget has changed (percentage wise) and it will mitigate change orders.  An integrated design process brings together all parties involved in the design and development of the project through an iterative process, that is dynamic and focus on aligning the vision and objectives of the project.

 

Which quality management standards does your office follow?

Every project is subject to the adoption of global and quality standards, that collectively support and develop a straightforward project’s process and management.

We follow the International Building Code (IBC), and  Codes relevant to each jurisdiction.

 

How are you implementing COVID-19 Guidelines?

The health and safety of our clients is one of our priorities. We follow protocol established by local authorities at the beginning of each project and make the necessary updates to keep a healthy environment.
